Indiana Tech is a Division II NAIA school located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The athletic program has made significant progress in recent years, especially the men's basketball team. The Warriors have emerged as a prominent force in the top-tier college basketball tournaments, including two consecutive trips to the NAIA Division II National Championship tournament.

History of Indiana Tech men's basketball

In the early days of the men's basketball program at Indiana Tech, the team didn't live up to expectations, and it wasn't considered a noteworthy program. They struggled to win games and make some process. Coach Al Entz, who served from 1973-1993, brought success to the team with eight conference championships during his tenure.

This progress took the team to new heights when they hired head coach Ted Albert. He has led the program since 2011 straight from a high school coaching position. By 2014, they had dominated Michigan-Based School Lawrence Tech, 94 – 58, combining momentum wasestablished, leading the team to their league championship that season.
